Visa Submission Time :0900 to 1200 hrs ( Monday, Wednesday and Friday)
Visa collection Time: 600 to 1700 hr ( Monday, Wednesday and Friday)

Note : – Visa is not required for the passport holders of Burundi, Democratic Republic of Congo, Germany, Hong Kong, Kenya, South Africa, Sweden, Singapore, Uganda, United Kingdom, USA, Tanzania, Maritius. Please note that all must hold a valid passport for at least six months.

Passport

A passport is a document that is required at the time of International travels. It is issued by the government of the country to verify the identity and nationality of the candidate.

The submitted passport must meet the parameters given below

  • It must be original and genuine.
  • It must be valid for 6 months ahead of the span of stay.
  • It must have minimun two blank pages for the visa stamp.
  • It must not be torn, ripped, split, or damaged in any kind of way.

One cannot cross international boundaries without the passport. It is considered a criminal offense otherwise.

Old Passport

An old passport is a passport that has expired or is completely stamped. In the visa processing, it is required to track the travel history of the applicant.  

 If available, the old passport  must also be provided meeting the given criteria

  • It must be original and in a good condition to access the required information.

Without the old passport, you cannot get the visa stamp. Professional visa consultation is recommended.

Photo

The photo is provided to the authority so that you can be identified based on the same. 

The photographs must be provided as per the given photo specifications

  • It must be a recent photograph.
  • The expressions on the face must be neutral, there must not be any kind of smiling of frowning in the photograph.
  • Any kind of glasses must not be worn in the photograph.
  • The hair must be tied back so that the face is clearly visible.
  • The ears must be visible clearly.
  • It must not have any headgear worn apart from religious reasons.
  • It is to be taken care that your teeth do not show in the photograph.

Recent pictures are mandatory as old pictures can cause the authorities to reject your application.

Air Ticket

An air ticket is a ticket or pass that is possessed by the traveler who is taking a flight for travelling from one location to another.

It is an important document and it should be submitted for the given reason

  • Air tickets should be confirmed for the two way trip.
  • It must be confirmed for the complete round trip.

An air ticket shows your course of travel and confirms your return to the native country.

Authority Letter

An Authority letter is a document that allows the holder to perform certain activities in their absence for a short period of time. 

It must follow the required criteria

  • It is must be obtained on the company letterhead and should be attested by the notary.
  • It must be addressed to the agency and obtained with a stamp and signature.

 Without the authority letter, the applicant is not allowed to do assigned business on behalf of the donor. Professional visa consultation is recommended.

Educational Documents

Educational documents are proof of the academic achievemments of the holder and other curriculum related documents. These include marksheets, leaving certificates, school/college bonafide certificate, etc.

Educational documents are obligatory for certain visas. They must follow the given criteria

  • It must be the highest qualification certificate provided as per the consular’s requirement.

Including some of the short term visas, without educational documents you will be granted a student visa or a work visa. Professional visa consultation is recommended.

Covering Letter From Applicant

Covering Letter consists of traveler’s information, itinerary, detailed travel Information, trip expense details, and your return guarantee to the home country.

The covering letter provided by the visa applicant should be acceptable based on the following guidelines

  • Non-official Spanish translator is also allowed
  • It must mention other details as well as per the Consular’s request.
  • It must mention the accommodation details of the applicant.
  • It must mention the person who will be bearing all the expenses during the trip, if not travelling alone.
  • It must specify the traveller’s relationship with the fellow travellers if not travelling alone.
  • It must clearly specify the traveller’s purpose of visit.
  • It must mention the travel dates as per the invitation letter or the booked flight tickets.
  • It must mention all the details as per the passport.

Covering letter is the first document that is seen by the consular. If the covering letter is not appropriate, it may cause your visa to get rejected as well. Professional visa consultation is recommended.

Police Clearance Certificate Pcc

PCC or Police Clearance Certificate is a document issued by the court or the regional Police Department stating that the applicant does not have any criminal background and can be granted the visa and permit to enter the country.

It should be submitted as per the following

  • It must be original and attested by the Ministry of External Affairs, India
  • It must be original and should be issued from the local police station.

Without an attested copy of a PCC, one cannot be granted any kind of long term visa. Professional visa consultation is recommended.

Invitation Letter from Company

An invitation letter from company is provided at the time when a particular employee is being invited to the company or even at the times when the company is setting up a business conference or meeting inviting companies from different countries for the benefit.

The letter of invitation from the company submitted should match the following criteria

  • It must be verified by the Ministry of External Affairs in Afghanistan.
  • It must contain the signature of the authority along with the designation, name of the company and the stamp.
  • It must mention the contact details, the purpose of travel, sponsorship details and other important documents.
  • It must be addressed to the respective diplomatic mission.

An invitation letter from a company to which are visiting is essential to provide proof of your purpose of visit.

Marriage Certificate

The marriage certificate is the document that witnesses one’s wedding to their spouse. It is issued by the certified official appointed by the government.

The Marriage Certificate is not generally required. When asked, it should be provided as per the given requirements

  • It is to be submitted at the time when the applicant is travelling with the spouse.

If you are travelling a married couple and the husband’s name is not mentioned in the passport, it is mandatory to submit the marriage certificate along with other necessary documents. Professional visa consultation is recommended.

Birth Certificate

A birth certificate is a document contains personal information of the person which include the date of birth, time of birth, place of birth and other details.

Birth certificate is a mandatory personal document in some cases. It must be provided as per the given requirements

  • It must be original and in a good condition.

Any traveller under 18 years of age is not allowed to apply for a visa without a birth certificate. Professional visa consultation is recommended.

  • Reasons to return – You must have strong ties in your home country that will ensure that you will return after your stay.

  • Be of good character – You must have a clean criminal track record and be of good character. You may have to provide PCC (Police Clearance Certificate) for the same.

  • Be in good health – You must at least meet the minimum health requirements required by the authorities.

  • Guaranteed booking or paid in full
  • It must be provided to ratify the purpose of visit and as proof of accommodation as well.

If you are staying in a hotel during your time in another country, a hotel voucher must be provided as proof of accommodation.

Eligibility for getting Rwanda Tourist Visa:

In order to be eligible to travel to the country on a visa, you will have to meet the following eligibility criteria.

  1. Be a genuine traveller-You must have a valid and good intention behind travelling to the country.

  2. Eligible to bear all expenses –You must possess sufficient funds to support yourself and any dependents throughout the stay.

  3. Reasons to return – You must have strong ties in your home country that will ensure that you will return after your stay.

  4. Be of good character – You must have a clean criminal track record and be of good character. You may have to provide PCC (Police Clearance Certificate) for the same.

  5. Be in good health –You must at least meet the minimum health requirements required by the authorities.

  6. Genuine Purpose

    • You must be a genuine travelling enthusiast wanting to explore the country.
    • You must already have the necessary travel arrangements made to prove your intention to visit.
