Itinerary Overview:
Day 1 - Arrive at Chandigarh & Drive to Shimla (120 kms / approx. 3-4 hours)
Arrive at Chandigarh Airport and proceed to Shimla. On arrival, check-in. Overnight in Shimla.
Day 2 - Shimla - Kufri - Shimla
Drive to Kufri after breakfast. You may hike on foot to the Mahasu Peak or pay for a mule ride up the hill. In the afternoon return to Shimla and visit Viceregal Lodge, Christ Church, St. Michael’s Cathedral and Jakhu temple. In the evening, take a walk on Shimla’s famous boulevard, Mall Road. Overnight stay in Shimla.
Day 3 -Shimla – Kullu – Manali (240 kms / approx. 7-8 hours)
After breakfast, check-out from the hotel and drive to Manali. On the way enjoy kullu sightseeing. Later proceed to Manali. Apart from temples, Manali is popular among adventure tourists coming for trekking, paragliding, rafting and skiing. Upon arrival, check-in at the hotel and spend evening at leisure. Overnight in Manali.
Day 4 - Manali Sightseeing
Today go on an adventurous drive to Solang valley. All above mentioned adventure activities can be availed here at Solang Valley. Later, today visit popular Hadimba Temple, Naggar Castle and Art gallery. In the evening, go for a walk along Mall Road. Overnight in Manali.
Day 5 - Manali - A day at leisure
After breakfast, enjoy full day at leisure in Manali. Alternatively, you may explore the destination offering numerous adventure sports and other places of interest. Overnight stay in Manali.
Day 6 - Manali – Dharamshala (220 kms / approx. 6-7 hours)
After breakfast, check-out from the hotel and drive to Dharamshala. Head to the hub of Buddhist culture in Dharamshala- McLeod Ganj and explore its myriad attractions, including the exotic Kangra valley. Overnight in Dharamshala.
Day 7 - Dharamshala Sightseeing
After breakfast, visit Tsuglagkhang Complex – which includes a museum and the residence of His Holiness Dalai Lama. Later, visit popular monasteries, Tibetan medical center). OR you can visit Mcloadganj – Dal Lake, St John Church & if time permits visit Bhagsu Nag. Overnight in Dharamshala
Day 8 - Dharamshala – Dalhousie (120 kms / approx. 3-4 hours)
After breakfast, check-out from the hotel and drive to Dalhousie. Upon arrival, check-in and then visit St. John’s Church. Overnight in Dalhousie.
Day 9 - Dalhousie - Khajjiar - Dalhousie
After breakfast, enjoy an excursion to Khajjiar – the mini Switzerland of India. Visit lake and the temple of Khajji Nag. Later return back to Dalhousie & visit Bhulwani Mata Mandir at Bara Pathar and hike up the Bakrota Hills to see an impressive view of snow-clad peaks and visit St. John’s Church. Overnight in Dalhousie.
Day 10 - Dalhousie – Amritsar (200 kms / approx. 4-5 hours)
After early breakfast, drive to Amritsar. After check-in at the hotel, proceed to India-Pakistan border at Wagah. Watch the ‘Beating the Retreat’ ceremony where soldiers of both countries bring down their respective national flags in their unique styles. After returning, visit the iconic Golden Temple. If time permits you may visit Jalianwala Bagh. Overnight in Amritsar.
Day 11 - Amritsar – Chandigarh Departure (230 kms / approx. 5 hours)
After breakfast, you will be transferred to Chandigarh airport for return journey.

Monuments closure:
→ Shimla & Kangra State Museums /vice regal lodge & Roerich Art Gallery/Naggar remain closed on Mondays

→ Dharamshala - Tibetan Institutes remain closed on Sunday & Second Saturday of Month, 15 Aug, All Tibetan Holidays - Hotels located at Mall Road – Please note if the Vehicle are not allowed at Mall Road, then guest will be dropped off at the nearest parking and they’ll have to manage by walking.
- Rohtang pass is 51 kms away from Manali. This Pass is not accessible for almost 8 months in a year, as it is covered by snow
- Snow clothes, jackets and gum boots are available on rent in the shops located on Rohtang Road, you can rent it at an additional cost if needed
- Peak Period surcharge will be applicable for booking on public holidays, festivals, exhibitions and long weekends. The surcharge amount will be advised at the time of booking
