Itinerary Overview:
Day 1 - Arrive at Bangalore – Chikmagalur (242 Kms/ approx. 5hrs)
On arrival at Bangalore, our representative will welcome you at Bengaluru Airport or Railway Station and drive to Chikmagalur, famous for its hill stations and also popularly known as the coffee land of Karnataka. Enroute visit Belavadi, a national heritage site. The main attraction of Belavadi is Veeranarayana Temple. On arrival at Chikmagalur, check in to the hotel. If time permits, visit to Coffee Museum, an interesting place to know more information about coffee, its history, types of Brewing, etc. Overnight at Chikmagalur.
Day 2 - Chikmagalur Sightseeing
Morning after breakfast, proceed to visit Seethalayanagiri and Mullayanagiri. Mullayanagiri is the highest peak of Karnataka state located in Bababudangiri range (Vehicles are allowed till Seethalayanagiri and you will need to do a small trek to Mullayanagiri). Then visit Kavikal Gandi Viewpoint located at the Kavikal Gandi checkpost in the Mullayangiri–Bababudangiri hill range. Then drive to Baba Budan Giri, a range of mountains in Chikmagalur. Visit Sree Guru Dattatreya Baba Budan Swamy Durgah (temple and a durgah) at Baba Budangiri, a mountain in the Baba Budan or Dattagiri range of the Western Ghats. Evening at leisure for individual activities. Overnight at Chikmagalur.
Day 3 - Chikmagalur – Coorg (150 Kms/ approx. 4 hrs)
After breakfast, checkout the hotel and drive to Coorg – the “Scotland of Karnataka” nestled in the Western ghats range and popularly known as Kodagu. On arrival at Madikeri, check in to the hotel. Evening visit to Abbi Falls, one of the picturesque waterfalls of Karnataka, located amid coffee estate and then proceed to Omkareshwara Temple – a temple having both Islamic and Gothic style of architecture. Then proceed to Raja Seat – a seasonal garden of flowers and artificial fountains. You can view the beautiful view of mountains of coorg from here. Return to the hotel and overnight at Coorg.
Day 4 - Coorg Sightseeing
After breakfast, proceed for the sightseeing for full day covering Dubare Elephant Camp, a forest camp on the banks of the River Kaveri. You can enjoy the Elephant rides and bird watching at Dubare elephant camp. Evening free for individual activities. Overnight at Coorg.
Day 5 - Coorg – Wayanad (117 kms/ approx. 3 hrs)
Today post breakfast, check-out and drive to Wayanad. On arrival at Wayanad, check-in at the hotel. Later in the afternoon visit Lakkidi View Point. Also, visit Pookat lake- this perennial fresh water lake, nestled among wooded hills, is the only one of its kind in Kerala. Boating facilities, children’s park, handicrafts and spices emporium and fresh water aquarium are among the tourist facilities available here. Overnight at Wayanad.
Day 6 - Wayanad – Day at Leisure
Today post breakfast, full day free for individual activities. Overnight at Wayanad
Day 7 - Wayanad – Calicut – Departure (91 Kms/ approx. 3 hrs)
Today post breakfast, check out and drive to Calicut. On arrival at Calicut, you will be transferred to Calicut airport for return flight back home.
